First Contact Stories

Cape San Blas, FL - Winter 2007:

"Dog walking on the beach in very cold weather, around 10 pm, I saw three blinking lights in the sky over the Gulf of Mexico which appeared to be disguised as aircraft landing lights –red and green .  For moment, I had this distinct feeling that they were checking me out.  I sat down on the beach and went into a trance.  Although it was cold, I was sweating. 

After a while, and I am not sure how long, the dogs seemed anxious, they aroused me from my trance and we went back home. 

I saw the same lights under the house where the dogs live; to me, there was no question that they knew where I was going because they were there ahead of me.

Let me explain the area. Cape San Blas is a pricey neighborhood of newer expensive homes along the Gulf of Mexico which are raised up on stilts to protect the homes from rising surf during storms. Under the houses are mostly dead space, used in dry season for car and/or boat parking. There was nothing under the house .... except these very bright lights - the same ones I saw in the sky. I saw these lights both in the sky and under the house at the same time.  They were blinking in color.  They put their lights on the house, lit it up for me. This was not my home, - it was a business contact for me where I was working.

I entered the house to return the dogs to their home and waited …  didn’t see any physical form appear although I felt like it would. However, I was very tired and attempted to lay down on the floor with the dogs. They were still very anxious and didn't want to lay down, so I opted for the couch by myself and slept for what I believed to be a short time.

After I left my dog sitting assignment, I drove back toward my home on the mainland.  Instinctively, I looked out over the Gulf of Mexico and there they were - the same bright lights … they followed along with me to my home as well.

I’ve travelled a lot in my life and have seen many different sky anomalies such as the northern lights … but this anomaly was huge .. more intense .. took up the whole sky. What I saw along with the lights was a huge cloud formation in the shape of a bird. .. there were no other clouds in the sky – it looked like a huge bird in dive formation but .. it wasn’t a bird, it was a ship and/or the cloaking of it.

This craft sighting was corroborated by my neighbor who is used to seeing military craft in the area as we live close to an airbase --- and they told me that saw the craft and knew that it wasn’t a military craft.  Same night, same craft. Different location. Living so close to the base, we are used to seeing military maneuvers at night over the Gulf; however, what we separately witnessed was different from these experiences; we both ‘felt’ it was not military and was more of an ultra-technology occurrence – a UFO.
