Hurlburt Field on Eglin Air Force Base has been home of the Air Commandos since 1961.
Named after First Lieutenant Donald Wilson Hurlburt who was killed in an aircraft crash at Eglin Auxiliary Field #9 in 1943, Hurlburt Field has a number of war planes on static display just outside their main gate and an Aviation Museum.
We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to visit the area recently. Knowing the history of some of these planes and the support they gave to ground troops during WW II, and Vietnam, it is no surprise to find Watcher Orbs around them.
We've also included photos without orbs or light anomalies -- just because they are excellent cool !
Hope you enjoy them.
