Mysterious Skies ............ UFO sighted in Western Skies over James Gilliland's Ranch in Trout Lake, WA

Mt. St. Helens, WA

On May 18, 1980, Mt. St. Helens roared to life at 8:32 am PST. A huge bulge that had hung out 450 feet over the roadway was shaken loose by a deep underground earthquake that sent a deadly mixture of rock, gas and ash miles into the atmosphere. A pyroclastic blast raced down the valley for 17 miles bring death and devastation to any living, breathing thing in its pathway. Miles of tall timber were flattened instantly by this blast as heated rushing waves of firey gasses spewed forth to the north and west of the mountain. Many people lost their lives, as well as unsuspecting wildlife. Please review our photographs and investigative report below:

Click above to see our video dedicated to those who'se lives were lost on that fateful day, and those who survived the eruption. Twenty-seven years later, Mt. St. Helens continues to smoke. Two days after we left, the area experienced a 2.8 quake .

Astoria views Mt. St. Helens twenty-seven years after the blast that shook loose an enormous eruption that changed the face of Mt. St. Helens forever.

Astoria contemplates the power of the mountain. Mt. St. Helens Twenty-seven years later. There used to be a road below the mountain which has since been covered under hundreds of feet of lava and ash. The new road, Spirit Lake Highway (Rt. 504), was recently built which takes you out and away from the mountain on the north side and eventually terminates at the Johnston Observatory, which is as close to the north face as you can get without a hiking permit.

Mt. St. Helens from the Toutle River Valley vantage point

Beautiful view of Mt. St. Helens showing the Toutle River Valley. The river bed is still thick with ash and lava and although the valley is very wide, the river looks to be a lot smaller than it really is. We spotted a herd of Elk in the valley, testament to the return of life to the area.

The new lava dome (dacite) from Mount St. Helens was formed in 1986. In 1997 five specimens were taken from this dome at five different locations and subjected to conventional Potassium-Argon dating. The results indicated ages of less than one half to almost three million years old, all from eleven year old rock.

The following series of photos are stills from a video of Mt. St. Helens. These object were not visible on the video, but on close frame by frame inspection showed surprising results. These stills are close ups to show the object as clearly as possible. The distance the object moved between Frame 1 and 2 shows that the object was moving faster than the eye could see .. and the camera, as well !

Date(s): July 9 , 2007 --- Time: 9 am Through 3 pm

Location: Numerous locations along Spirit Lake Highway (Rt. 504), including Seaquest State Park,, Silver Lake Visitor Center, Coldwater Ridge Visitor Center, and Johnston Ridge Observatory

Weather Conditions: Beautiful, warm, skies clear with very little cloud cover, little or no humidity and more windy the closer we got to the Johnston Observatory.

Site Properties: Forested and mountainous region with new forest growth closer to Mt. St. Helens proper .

Investigators: Astoria and Dolphyn

Preliminary Investigation: Shortly after we turned off I-5, we could feel the increase in energy. Mt. St. Helens is a very powerful energy generator and we felt magnetized by its power. There is a lot of 'new' energy riding along with the old. A lot of love has been flowing into the region and the air is light with its grace. We felt the presence of off-world visitors, strong at times, but always in the background, like a hum of an engine, although there was so audible sound that we could tell .. it was more of a feeling. Please see photos above. The presentation at Johnston Observatory is extremely powerful and seeing it was a moving experience. We didn't have the opportunity to see Spirit Lake, nor Ape Caves and will save them for another trip, yet both locations felt powerfully drawing.

FINDINGS: Mt. St. Helens region is alive with energy. The area lay testament to the powerful explosion that rocked the mountain and lowered its height by about 1300 feet. Is the Mt. St. Helens area haunted? Do the ghosts of the dead continue to roam the area stuck in a self-imposed limbo? No ... we did not feel any negativity at all while we were there. We felt a peaceful atmosphere, reverent and awesome; this is a sacred place. We feel that those who lost their lives have moved on to their higher purpose and do not linger here. We did feel the love of those who survived and continue to live there, a very special feeling indeed.

Harry Truman's presence is most evident because he so loved "his" mountain, as well as his 16 feline family friends. His love is definitely a big part of what we felt. A man who many thought crazy -- he just couldn't bring himself to leave his family of friends -- the earth, the lodge, the lake and the mountain. We bless you, Harry.

Mt. St. Helens is at peace. We blessed it and left the area feeling totally awed.

Tall Timber Calls

There's a wild call from the mountain
Lone wolf calls at a moon beam
The urgent calls of a pine squirrel
And the chilling cougar's scream.

I've thrilled to the cry of the loon
And the cooing of the dove
The piercing scream of an eagle
And the poets song of love.

I've heard the cry of the falcon
And the hoot-owl's mournful call
A pack of hungry coyotes
And a tiny baby's squall.

Heard the loggers call timber
And the squawking of the crow
There's one call gets my attention
Mother nature calls...I go.

1980 eruption on Mt. St. Helens

The rivers ran thick with liquid earth and mighty forests were brought to their knees. And the air was filled with the roar of a thousand battles, the dust of a thousand armies.

Day turned to night. And in the blink of an eye, Mt. St. Helens, the brilliant southern jewel of the Cascade crown, self destructed in a pyroclastic spasm of rage and fury.

She stands now in lopsided disfigurement- a curiosity, a burned out, blasted facsimile of her former self. Yet if one looks carefully enough there is still a haunting echo of a previous beauty- regal boned beneath scarred skin.

Or is it a distant reflection of something more disquieting?

Is it the realization that having endured her cruel fate, deep inside St. Helens an angry fire burns still?

-David Hoole, Washington the Beautiful

Credo

I believe that we are a very small
part of a very large world.

I believe we have the power to change this world for the betterment of all beings.

I trust in my intuition that we are all
a beautiful part of a wondrous being
who loves and protects us.

I believe this being to be the
Creator Source of All Things.

I honor that part of the
Creator Source in you,
and in myself.

I trust in the Divine Wisdom of
The Universe
and through Its guidance
we will all prosper.

All Is One.

A Noble Being

Visit Mt. St. Helens to perch on the precipice
of Divine Nobility beyond human understanding.

View the white plume rise into blue sky
above snowy peaks and incredible devastation.

Realize the arrogance of man.

Commune with Mt. St. Helens to recognize God,
One that cannot be boxed in any church or book.

Hear her whisper in every puff,
'You, too, are Divine.'
