Types of Stones and How To Use Them

Agate - enhances love, abundance, wealth, good luck, longevity, harmony; protector of children. grounds to earth.

Amazonite - bestows truth, sincerity, honor. Improves eloquence in speaking from the heart. Associated with the throat chakra.; relieves stress, and calms the nervous system.

Amber - brings love, purification and wisdom; lifts depression, draws out negative energy.

Amethyst - increases spiritual awareness, meditative and psychic abilities, transforms negative energy into positive energy. Helps to release unwanted h abits and release addictions.

Apatite - useful in intellectual pursuits, fosters communication, concentration and clarity of thought.

Aquamarine - associated with the calming effect of the sea, uses to soothe, calm and alleviate fears. Used in communicating with aquatic life, even if one lives far from the sea.

Aventurine - creativity, imagination, prosperity, career success and balance. Azurite - promotes clear understanding, cleansing, healing, purification, purpose, kindness, patience, prophecy and truth. Aids in psychic travel

Beryl - intellectual abilities, wisdom

Black Obsidian - change, transformation, metamorphosis, fulfillment, inner growth. Grounding energy to physical plane.

Bloodstone - enhances alignment, organization and energy flow. Removes emotional and physical blockages.

Bronze - relaxation, serenity, calmness; promotes a laid-back attitude.

Calcite - attuned to the mental plane. used to strengthen against mental anguish and inner turmoil. associated with the metaphysical, enhances spirituality; enhances healing abilities

Carnelian - enhances energy flow, creativity, courage, happiness, self-esteem and memory. Stone for harvesting dreams and things we dream.

Cat's Eye - builds determination, strength of mind, will power, moral turpitude

Celestite - spiritual develpment, enlightenment, awareness. encourages and facilitates petition or prayer; aids channeliling with other beings, angels, spirit guides.

Chalcedony - vitality,stamina and endurance; energizing effect on people and things.

Chalcopyrite - opens and clears Spiritual Third Eye chakra and throat chakra. improve psychic ability and ability to reach beyond

Chrysoberyl - builds kindness, generosity, forgiveness and benevolence.

Chrysocolla - tranquility, serenity and peace; represents the water element.

Chrysophase - balance, promoting stability, expression and communication. Patron of children, young animals and seedlings.

Cinnabar - vigor, energetic ability; forcefulness and assertiveness

Citrine - stimulates earthly pleasure, protection, strength and confidence; healing to digestive tract and eases emotional imbalance. Associated with Solar Plexus Chakra.

Cobalt - fosters channelling, communication with higher beings, meditation, balance, prayer and thankfulness

Copper - promotes channelling, cleansing, luck, prosperity, purification, self-esteem, facilitates the flow of energy

Coral - balance, relaxation, protection, safety in travel on water.

Danburite - clear stone with crystal structure, amplification of other stones' effectiveness.; released energy blockages, causes healing on all levels

Desautekite - clairvoyance, psychic abilities, fortune telling and seeing the future. Helps during divination

Diamond - bonds relationships, promotes hope and protects innocence; encourages love, abundance and courage.

Sodalite - empowers logical thinking, intelligence, emotional balance

Sugilite - a healer's stone, enhances ability to heal, strengthens spirituality, psychic connection, channeling

Tanzanite - psychic's stone, enhances psychic abilities, communication with spiritual guides, mysticism Tektite - promotes communication with extra-terrestrials and contact

Tiger's Eye - improves clear thinking process, personal empowerment, wil power

Topaz - self-confidence, optimism, creativity, abundance

Tourmaline - enhances happiness, serenity, positive transformation; opens Heart Chakra

Turquoise - protection, balance strength, energy, wisdom, and friendship. Empathic stone, teaches empathy for others to the wearer.

Renewing Our Ancient Bonds

Rocks, plants and animals evolved on Mother Earth long before humanity and have watched our evolution. Recent years have shown how destructiive a path has been chosen by humanity and now today, rocks, plants and animals are beckoning with their inner song to those of us who have ascended beyond modern day 'spoon-fed' religious paths.

It is time to renew out connection with the Nature Spirits and to walk in the loving guidance and protection of Mother Earth. Renewing our ancient bond with nature is part of the ascension process now unilaterally occuring on Planet Earth.

Using crystals, and cosmic stones is honoring Mother Earth while helping to raise the vibratory rate moment by moment. Accessing nature is simple, whether you live in a city, suburbs or rural area - all that is necessary is you, because creation is all around you.

Call upon the many essences around you, 'send a voice' to a tree, or a rock, or one of your house plants. Make the effort to communicate with Nature on its terms - visit a park, or the countryside, the beach or shoreline and soak up the creation that surrounds you.

Nature is our greatest teacher, equal, just, loving and passionate.

You may invoke the essence of various spirit and nature beings into yourself, for healing, guidance and to emulate their strengths and support your own strengths.

Create your own invocation or use something like this one:

Tree Spirits, I call on you now
Tree Spirits, your strength and stability I need
Tree Spriits, live and abide in me.

While you are invoking the spirits of the Trees, stand tall and raise your arms skyward like the sweeping branches of a tree. Feel the power of the Trees' essence enter your body through your uplfted hands, down your arms, through your shoulders, body, down your hips, thighs, to your feet and down through into the earth. Imagine this energy rooting you and stabilizing you to the earth, giving you strength and stability. When you are ready, lower your arms and bask in the nurturance of Tree's essence.

This same invocation can be done with land, sky and sea animals, with rocks, stones, plants, and flowers. Use the power of your imagination and visit with nature to listen to her messages.

Nature is calling to us to re-establish our familial connection so we may once again walk in balance and reverance upon our sacred Mother Earth.

Assignments:

1. Adopt a crystal or cosmic stone and become one with it, using the techniques mentioned in Part 1. Clear it of any negativity and then program it for your needs.

2. Gift a crystal back to Mother Nature using the technique described in Part 1.

3. Write a few paragraphs about how cosmic stones can help you in today's world with your needs, mentioning which stones you would use for a healing for yourself.

4. Pay homage to Mother Nature by visiting the woodlands, a park, the shore, or even your own backyard and commune with a tree or a rock, or an earth animal. Express from your heart your desire to love and nurture our Earth and then ... listen to what Nature has to tell you.
